I am just loving J.Crew's collaboration with the CFDA and Vogue's Fashion Fund. Don't know about it? Here's the 5 second low down: basically CFDA and Vogue have this endowment for up and coming designers and every year they pick 10 finalists and the winner and 2 runners up receive prize money and business mentoring. WELLLLLL recently J.Crew has become the main sponsor/partner/whatever for the Fashion Fund and the winner and two runners up get to do a sweet collaboration with J.Crew (ultimately propelling the designer into the mainstream consumer retail world of sales, sales, SALES!.....aka quantity.....aka who do you think makes more money: Rodarte and their $2k sweaters or H&M and their $35 sweaters? Just a little business thought for ya)
SO ANYWAYYYYYYYYYY J.Crew has already complete 2 collaborations: Prabal Gurung (the winner and who's work I love) and Billy Reid. And now they have just released the jewelry from their collaboration with hard core yet refined jewelry designer Eddie Borgo (one of the runners up! Go Eddie!).

I'm not a HUGE fan of really wide bracelets, so I think my favorite 2 things in this collection are the skinny black cuff bracelet and the pearl necklace. I can't resist me some pearls and studs! Naughty and Nice! Hard core and soft rock! etc etc etc Also, I think the belts are awesome, but they will cost you $125 and I just bought a black leather studded belt from GAP on sale for like $12.99 So I'm good in the studded belt department. Also in my personal and humble opinion, I feel like that pouch would be wayyyyyyyyyyy cuter with a simple pyramid stud, not a spiked stud. That's all.
